Margaret H. "Maggie" Bonham is a six-time award winning professional dog, cat, and science fiction and fantasy author in Colorado. She has trained over 50 dogs in sledding, agility, packing, obedience, weightpulling, and conformation, earning multiple titles on several of her own dogs. She has written educational coursework for dog trainers with Thomson Education Direct in training agility and activities with dogs. She has taught dog training packing classes at Colorado Free University and is a professional member of Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), Dog Writers Association of America (DWAA), Cat Writers Association (CWA), and the Pikes Peak Writers Association (PPW).
Maggie has been a professional writer since 1995 and has written novels, nonfiction books, short stories, courses, educational materials, and articles. Her writing credits include twenty books (published or under contract):

Maggie Bonham is the three-time winner of the prestigious Maxwell Award for writing excellence. She is also the first time winner of Pet Sitter's International's First Canine Award, which is given to the most humorous story told in first-person by a dog. She has won one Muse award from the Cat Writers Association for best Health and Care Book and has won the IAMS Responsible Cat Ownership Award for Bring Me Home: Cats Make Great Pets.
Maggie has taught writing courses with the Colorado Free University. She has spoken at seminars for National Writer's Association, Cat Writer's Association, CONDFW, Norwescon, Radcon, Fencon, Opusfest, MileHiCon, Baycon, Conestoga, MileHiCon, and Long's Peak Writer's Group. She has written and marketed mystery and science fiction/fantasy novels and is currently marketing a fantasy and mystery series.
Maggie currently trains various breeds for agility, sled dog racing, obedience, and conformation.
