To Defeat a Demon

Three months after Lachlan slew the Emperor Allarun, the Eleion are on the verge of civil war.  Torn between their hatred for the half-blood king and their duty to him, two of the clans renounce their loyalty in the hopes of destroying the alliance.

In the midst of negotiations, disaster strikes.  A daring raid and kidnapping of Lachlan's queen, forces Lachlan to confront Allarun's son, Vaurgar.  Half demon and part god, Vaurgar has found a talisman so powerful that it can destroy Lachlan.

Lachlan agrees to Vaurgar's terms in the hopes of saving his queen and unborn son.  Yet even as does so, a mysterious half-blooded girl offers to lead him to Vaurgar, for a price.  And that price may cost him more than his life...

"M. H. Bonham does it again with a fantastic new novel.

Runestone of Teiwas takes us back into the vivid world she created in Prophecy of Swords.  The powers of darkness are gathering like a storm, and this time evil has an edge in a runestone that could make or break a world.  Fantastical settings and deep characterization are well mixed in this tale of gods, dragons and avatars at war.  Definitely a hard one to put down.  Laura J. Underwood, author of DRAGON'S TONGUE and CHRONICLES OF THE LAST WAR.

"Runestone of Teiwas is an exhilarating adventure.  Utilizing great storytelling, compelling characters, and courtly intrigue, Bonham shows us that the story of a king who must rescue his queen from an evil tyrant remains truly timeless.  Highly recommended."  David Lee Summers, editor of Tales of the Talisman and author of Vampires of the Scarlet Order.
